Let’s peek at some of the
underdogs playing today: Iran and Bosnia-Herzegovina! Both are part of Group F
which features Argentina and Nigeria.
Iran
Iran has never been able to
advance beyond the Group stage at the World Cup. Its most epic match was its 2-1
defeat over the USA in 1998 which was charged with politics and ended up
eliminating the Americans from the Cup.
Iran’s first match against Nigeria
ended up scoreless for both sides. We
wish them luck as they battle heavyweight Argentina today, who have the Pope on
their side!
This is the team for you ladies
