U.S.A - Show Beckham how to Bend it!

In time for today's game and in support of team U.S.A., let's take a look at the star players that can bring the World Cup title home...wishful thinking?? Maybe not, we have Landon Donovan who is considered one of the top 50 players in the world, Midfielder - Clint Dempsey known for his versatility as a wing or striker, and Goalie - Tim Howard who is an avid athlete and can kick a ball 80 miles an hour. Watch out England!! And Ladies, don't forget our team U.S.A. hotties.


Our Stars

Midfielder: Clint Dempsey
Age: 27, Height: 6'1
Known for his toughness, played two games with a broken jaw.










Forward: Landon Donovan
Age: 28, Height: 5'8
Considered the best player
produced by the United States





Goalie: Tim Howard
Age: 31, Height: 6'3

Howard's impressive work-out regimen was highlighted in Men's Health June 2010 issue. Tim adds boxing to his exhaustive core training.













The Hotties





Defender: Carlos Bocanegra
Age: 31, Height: 6'0

Called 'Los', he is the Captain of the US team. Bocanegra says he likes the direction the team is heading and is hoping to cause some surprises in South Africa.







Defender: Oguchi Onyewu
Age: 28 , Height: 6'4

A current defender for Milan, Oguchi is better known as 'Gucci Mane'. "His strengths are combining his great size with physical play and strong aerial ability."







Oguchi, the tallest of the US players also hold Belgium citizenship. He played soccer at Clemson University for two years before moving to Europe and starting his professional career in France.






Defender: Jonathan Spector
Age: 24, Height: 6'1
Currently plays for West Ham United as a defender, but started his career as a striker with Manchester United when he was a teenager. Spector's grandfather is former NBA player Art Spector; the first player to be signed by the Boston Celtics in 1946.









Midfielder: Benny Feilhaber
Age: 25, Height: 5'9

Plays for Dutch team, AGF Aarhus and has enjoyed much success in the last couple of years. Originally born in Brazil, Benny moved to the U.S. at the age of 6. He is a powerful performer and very comfortable showcasing his abilites during tournament games.
